Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Openoffice Technologies, Inc. uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on Six Degrees, what each category does, and how you can control them.

Last updated 8 August 2026

1.What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We also use local storage, session storage and device identifiers, which work similarly. Together we call these "cookies."

2.Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary — sign-in sessions, phone verification, routing, load balancing, fraud and abuse prevention, and enforcement of blocks and lockouts. These cannot be switched off within the Service.
  • Preference — remembering your Radar visibility state, theme, language, feed filters and last-viewed surfaces so the app behaves consistently.
  • Performance and analytics — aggregated, privacy-respecting measurement of feature usage, errors and latency so we can improve matching, chat and the date engine.
  • Payment and security — set by our payment and infrastructure providers to authenticate transactions and detect fraudulent activity.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run third-party ad networks, and we do not sell or share cookie data for cross-context behavioural advertising.

3.Third-party providers

Some cookies are set by service providers acting on our behalf, including hosting, authentication, messaging, analytics and payment processors. They are contractually limited to using the data to deliver services to us.

4.How long they last

Session cookies are deleted when you close the app or browser. Persistent cookies last from a few days up to twelve months depending on purpose, and are refreshed while you remain active.

5.Your controls

  • Where required by law, we ask for consent to non-essential cookies before setting them, and you can change your choice at any time.
  • Your browser or device settings can block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in, verification and safety features.
  • Use 'Sign out and erase this device' on your profile screen to clear locally stored Six Degrees data on that device.

6.Do Not Track and questions

There is no consistent industry standard for Do Not Track signals, so we do not respond to them; we honour Global Privacy Control signals where legally required. Questions about this policy: support@6dgreez.com.
