Career, industry, invitation-tree and professional-profile badges are derived from self-reported information and limited third-party sources. They may be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete or fraudulently obtained. A badge is not a representation by us that a person is who they claim to be, is single, is solvent, is honest, is healthy, or is safe. Verify anything that matters to you independently.

Unless we state otherwise in writing for a specific programme, we do not conduct criminal, sex-offender, credit, employment, immigration or identity background checks on members. Nothing on the Service is a "consumer report" and it may not be used for employment, tenancy, credit, insurance or any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws.

The Vibe Index, compatibility percentages, weighting matrix and ranking order are proprietary product mechanics designed to encourage follow-through and reduce flaking. They are approximate, subject to change without notice, and are not psychological assessments, character judgements, safety ratings or predictions of relationship success. No decision affecting your legal rights should be based on them.

Radar visibility is opt-in, coarsened and time-limited, and mutual-contact counts are computed from hashed identifiers. These features can be affected by device settings, network conditions, hashing collisions and stale data, and may be incomplete or wrong. They must never be used to locate, follow or approach a person who has not affirmatively matched and agreed to meet you. Misuse results in permanent removal and may be reported to law enforcement.

• Do not share your home address, workplace, travel plans or identity documents early.
